Brandon and Sadie tied the knot in an intimate Alexandria elopement, with a special ceremony at their home church on August 28, 2024. That day was such a sweet culmination of their beautiful love story.
Though I’m on maternity leave after welcoming my first baby home, I was so honored that Brandon & Sadie chose to trust and book the ENP Associate Team to capture their special day. After learning more about their story, I knew they were a great fit to join the ENP Family.
How They Met
Like my husband and I, these two met on the dating app Hinge! But they admit that Brandon GHOSTED Sadie! (Though Sadie confesses she was only replying to him in one-word sentences. Welcome to modern dating…?)
But God had a plan to get them to talk. They found themselves at the same restaurant in Alexandria, Virginia at the same time one Sunday in the summer of 2021. Brandon recognized Sadie, and Sadie just thought Brandon was a random cute boy. She even told one of her friends, “It’s rude that cute boy didn’t ask for my number.” Later that day, Brandon finally texted Sadie back and the two realized fate might have started working. They went on their first date August 15, 2021. Then the day before her 24th birthday, Brandon asked Sadie to be his girlfriend.
Walking By Faith
A year later, Sadie was diagnosed with cancer. What might have torn many couples apart, only brought the two of them closer. They trusted God with Sadie’s treatment and future. Brandon became one of her biggest supporters as she battled the disease. Thankfully, Sadie was declared cancer free 12 chemo treatments later! Now, what they value most about their relationship is knowing how they can overcome hardships as a team.
Surviving that trying time together, Brandon knew it was time to take the next step. On his 30th birthday, in Nashville, Tennessee, Brandon asked Sadie to marry him. She, of course, said yes. Fast forward a few months to today. They shared tear-jerking private vows at Carlyle House in Alexandria, before heading to their home church for their elopement ceremony.

Their Alexandria elopement was so beautifully captured by ENP Associate team member Gracie. As you view their special memories below, you’ll see the deep love they share. I asked each one to share a brief sentence about what they love most about each other. Now knowing a bit of their story, their answers will no doubt melt your heart like it did mine.
Sadie said, “His patience, loyalty and unwavering support and love.”
Brandon said, “Her ability to take on challenges and persevere. She walks by faith and not by sight. (And she loves and takes care of me.)”
A Special Plug for 118 Foundation
After beating cancer, Sadie founded the 118 Foundation, a non-profit committed to helping young people, ages 18-39, make their comeback from cancer, restoring trust in their futures and freedom to live fully—because sickness is not their story.
